Hi there,
I just wanted to let you know that I am fully supportive of this initiative. I think that we need to take a more serious and realistic look at the state of people’s health and well-being in Canada. Our governments need to become much more proactive on eliminating toxins in the environment, and need to work with industry, developers, farmers, and doctors to build a much more thoughtful approach to healthcare in Canada.
The problem you highlight here is cancer, which is serious and is only getting worse. The effects from toxins in the environment go beyond cancer rates, of course, and include things such as threats to our ontological development, threats to our immune systems, and increasing incidences of several forms of disease.
We are so far behind the E.U. when it comes to things such as this, and it will be a good day when we begin seeing some serious action on this issue from our national government.
