This international teleconference organized by Water.ca was chaired from Ottawa and included scientists and policy makers from three US States and one from Ontario. I had the opportunity to participate in the panel to discuss the changing nature of our world, and the implication of climate change for transportation infrastructure and water. While these discussions are going on amongst citizens, academics and journalists, we unfortunately find that in Alberta the government continually turns a blind eye to the impending water crisis.
